The Course of Nature Interrupted

Vile Nature from the Fall
Moved history forward in bloody array
Peoples and nations came and went
Killing and being killed

Then God in Christ split Nature's Fall
Condemned the Vile and from
A rugged cross on a gruesome hill
Pronounced victory over death, Hell,
and the grave

Thus the course of nature interrupted
History moves now toward Christ's return
While killing remains the same
The end has been declared

Peace on Earth, good will toward man
As he takes a righteous stand!

The Course of Nature Interrupted (c) Quentin Clingerman
