Independance Day

All Americans can reflect on the Fourth of July

When the American Colonies decided to beccome independent, do or die!

Freedom from a tyrannical government was their desire

Risking everything to get out of that stultfying  political mire

Are enough Americans now willing to declare

That freedom from a tyrannical governent  is still what they share

That freedom from a tyranical government is still what they share?

Independance Day (c)2015 Quentin Clingerman

Note: Would the founders of our nation (USA) be pleased with how we are being ruled today? I wonder.
