Looking for Reality

It is not on television with all of those surreal survival shows

Or on the radio that carries so much  flotsam and jetsam of television

Reality is looking inward and upward beyond what is seen by the eyes

What is felt by the hands, what is heard by the ear, what is tasted on the tongue

Reality is at the core of being in right relationship to the Creator

Thus  God sent His only begotten son

Our eyes may deceive us, our touch even be unsure, our hearing desensitized

By this world's jargon and sap

We look unto Jesus who walked earth's pathway but in the light of His Father

And our Father

Our path becomes brighter our gaze fixed on Him

The eyes of our hearts see beyond the here and now of earthboundness

The glory of our eternal Home

Walking thereby steadfastly in that Reality

The World impacts less and less

The saints of all ages have understood what is Real

Forsaken the ways of this World

Looking for Reality
