September Moments

Looking out the window at the summer blooms
Feeling a bit of Fall in the summer air
Thinking that time of massive harvesting looms
Marking the Eternal blessings of His tender care

Corn fields in full tassel with ripening ears
Pumpkins growing orange in the Fall sun
A recurring garden spectacle through the years
Children's last visage of a summer of fun

Reminding us of the faithfulness of God;
Providential care on this age old sod
