A Smile that Won My Heart

She stood there, with a wide, wide smile

And opened her arms just as wide

We hugged like relatives

Her face glowed and her eyes were moist

Love and caring just flowed

It made my day, week, and beyond

A memory I'll long keep

Nan is a very special person

Whom it has been such a joy to meet

A Smile that Won My Heart! (c)2008 Quentin Clingerman

Note: It was such a delight to meet Nan and Allen Forehand and her brother and his family.

God gives us very special blessings along the way and this was surely one of them.
