Treading Softly

Treading Softly

When water falls and lakes are full
Fish are swimming strongly
When sky blues and gardens grow
Flowers bloom profusely
My step is light, my path is clear
I tread on earth so softly

When praises come so easily
I store these treasured times
For always storms loom ahead
The way becomes increasingly steep and rocky
My imagination takes hold
I still tread the earth so softly

I tread the earth so softly
