Flat on my Back

Walking my merry way
Smiling for the sunshiny day
I became careless where I was walking
Didn't notice who there was stalking
Suddenly tripping on a big crack
Fall hard right on my back

Put me then flat on my face
Bowing low for needed grace
To get up and walk the straight and narrow
God does look out even for the lowly sparrow
Reminded to keep my eyes on Heaven
Be wary of this life's evil leaven

Reminded to keep my eyes on Heaven
Be wary of this life's evil leaven
