Hummingbird (3Haiku)

Mother hummingbird
Hovers over the babies
Their beaks wide open

Two little furries
Nestled from the falling rain
Mother umbrella

Fully feathered bird
Explores the outer limits
Mother finds it gone

Hummingbird (3Haiku)(c)2005 Quentin Clingerman

Note: Reflection on some excellent photography.
