Minor Surgery

Glaring light above

Skillful hands work adroitly above my face

Glisteniing scalpel moves like magic

No feeling, but I am wide awake

Injection of anesthisea painful

OUCH!  Ohhhhhhhhhhhh!

Read while removed tissue was analyzed

More cutting

Waiting for closing of wound

Cup of hot tea refreshing

More anesthisea. Oh no!

More cutting

White sutures move through the air above my face

Green sutures follow, closing the wound

"Your clear of the cancer. Follow instructions"

"Thank you, Doctor."

Thank the Lord it is over.

Healing grace takes time.

Resting in God, my Savior and Lord!

Oh, yes, finished that delicious cup of tea!
