Manicured Lawn

Manicured Lawn

Riding the lawn mower
Smell of new cut grass
View of varied colored flowerbeds
All trees and shrubs of summer green
Bird feeders and bath at the ready

Let the rest of the world go by
Rest in God's warm sunshine awhile
Smell that new cut grass
Listen to the buzz of bees
The bark of a dog, the song of a bird

Watch a spider spin its web
A tiny praying mantis climb a plant
Butterflies flitting about
They're blessings of God's Nature
In a manicured lawn

Manicured Lawn by Quentin Clingerman(c)2005

Note: The manicured lawn is a figment of my imagination, not my lawn! :)
