Betsie Ten Boom

Betsie, you are in the loving arms of Jeus

Your horrendous suffering long over

You enjoy the comfort and joy of your Lord

But you did then!

You knew a love that surpasses understanding

In your words, "God's love goes deeper than any pit."

You were surely in a pit in a Nazi concentration camp

But God was there with you in a sense few ever experience

Such was the case that when you died there

The beauty of physical appearance returned

Making a statement that spoke even to the hard hearted guards

Corrie took special note

She, your sister, spread the witness of God'f faithfulness

Even in the worst of conditions

Even in the worst of conditions

Betsie Ten Boom (c)2015 Quentin Clingerman

Note:  This poem comes after watching the Corrie Ten Boom movie of life in a Nazi Concentration Camp during WW!! .
