Remembering My Mom

Remembering My Mom

Remembering my mom, her laughter and tears

Remembering my mom how she allayed my childhood fears

Remembering my mom her wise counsel and sage

Remembering my mom, fond memories engage

She could be a stern disciplanarian, her voice enough

She could on somethings be indeed very tough

But there were plenty of smiles and laughter as well

As from child to adult I moved to dwell

Especially, her faith shone through

Her love of God all who met her soon knew

Her prayers, earnest and sincere

Once again I'd love to hear
