Costumed for Halloween

Costumed for Halloween

Halloween apparel is such  a variety

Some suggests a lack of sobriety!

Goblins and ghosts one expects

Others show some-off -the wall aspect

From dragons and devils to sweet fairy godmothers

They come to the door with their bags open wide

Looking for treats, better be sweet

Sometimes even a thank you, that's neat

From a costumed youth  masked or not

Costumes homemade or store bought

Just look what some parent has wrought!

Draped in finery or much less

Costumes come in such a variety of dress

Not to be seen again for a year.
