Sunshine after the Rain

When the clouds hang heavy overhead

When thunder roars and wind causes dread

When sheets of rain come pouring down

When cold and looking dismal all around

It is time to think of the light above the storm

The constant source of warmth, the norm

There is sunshine after the rain

There is wellness after the pain

For the sun is always there

The Son is always there

Sunshine after the Rain (c) 2008 Quentin Clingerman
