Mary and Joseph Journey to Bethlehe

Mary and Joseph Journey To Bethlehem

They follow angels all day long
And in their darkness, hearken light,
They listen to the Seraph's song
And keep the angels close in sight.

The morn pours gold light through earth’s mist,
The eve, a silver starlight shines,
They find their way when they subsist
On heaven's voice, and hope, and signs.

His love, with whom he chose to stay,
She carries Treasure deep inside,
The Treasure leads them on their way,
The God of Love provides their Guide.

A journey ordered by one man,
But who can search the depths of God,
They give their will to Him who can
Enlighten paths on earthen sod.

About the Poet
Husband, father, grandfather, and each title is my joy. As a youth, poetry was a means to express the inexpressable. I was attracted to (and still am) the beauty and brevity of verse. All flows out from God, and like a proper prayer, can flow back.
