Spirited!

Spirited

My yard is but a pulpit from where speaks

my songbird heart, expressing utmost glory

of Him who's caring hand and way, I seek,

while singing to the world of certain story.

Resplendently, my fauna shines His grace

all timely tended to with rain and sun,

each set by no coincidence, in place-

each bloom a sermon with each day begun.

'Tis morning here - praise Him for this new day!-

Astir I am, within the gospel breeze!

For manna blossoming of roots, I pray-

His love uplifts me higher than the trees -

as once again, my spirit moves unfurled

reflecting our Creator in the world...
