Joy Blooms

Joy Blooms

Exuberantly so becomes the flower,

a blossoming of color all its own

designed to bloom in certain time and hour

from seed or bulb in depth, so surely grown.

Inspired by our Creator's gentle hand,

what would or who could not bring forth such praise

from nurturing of manna given land,

and thankfulness for blessed given ways.

'Tis where the poem first takes root within,

seethed by the living water of the Son;

'tis joy inspired blooming to begin

from in the soul land of a verse begun.

Exuberantly so, I hear His voice-

I move my pen...joy blooms, and I rejoice...
