Here Comes the Summer Wind...

Here Comes the Summer Wind

Here comes the summer wind 'round woodland trees

inviting boughs to dance above the stream

in partners with sun's rays from beam to beam,

as slowly then, the song's hushed to a breeze.

From branch to branch, two bluebirds glide with ease-

a vibrant waltz midst habitat supreme

in sparkling tone as though the water's gleam;

their anthem fills and echoes through the lees.

There tangos through the woods a pillowed trail

where from, all thriving nature calls my name

each season from the deep here, without fail

rekindling once again a peaceful flame

found no where else I know, from hill to dale-

each year held close and never once the same...

Genesis 1: the beginning

Psalm 29:11...the Lord blesses his people with peace

(a Petrarchan sonnet)
