Rondel to the Sea

Rondel to the Sea

The constant living water's flow
comes forth and gently touches me;
white-capped exuberance, I see,
for God devised these waves, I know.

There's ancient winds from long ago;
He walks on waves eternally-
the constant living water's flow
comes forth and gently touches me.

In depths, there thrives eternal glow;
the seagulls cry, 'I'm free - I'm free!'
I cast my net - He blesses me!
The ocean's deep - in Him I grow,
in constant living water's flow!
