Rippling Spring

Rippling Spring

Reflecting here within the lake,
the blooming redbud trees
move gently, stirring in the wake
by tender brush of breeze.

Within the mirror, floats the bank
splashed gold with daffodils
'neath sky of hue of robins eggs
o're greening grass of hills.

Near distant cherry blossom trees
the wind uplifts and sings,
then carries petals to the lake;
the scene moves..,.rippling -

upon the face of depths great door
and onward to my inward shore...

(Looking forward to Spring!)

John 14:27...'My peace I give to you, my peace I give you'...
