I Love the Quiet

 

I love the quiet of the early morning,
just when the bright and new born day is dawning-
when I can hear varieties of songs
from early birds outside my window, singing.
It is the perfect time to praise the Lord
for given grace each day that I am blessed with-
to watch the trees and bushes gently stirring.
It is the perfect time for Bible study,
to meditate upon His truth and word-
to close my eyes and listen to Him speaking,
as sure as peace abounds within air...
or just to watch the being of Creation-
the budding branch or greening grass believing...
I love the quiet of the early morning.
