Spring Flowers

Spring Flowers

I harken to the faithful chorus singing

in hues and blooms.  An earthly celebration

occurs by hope of seasons newly born.

The fledgling flowers rise to gentle winging

amidst the calming breezes.  Such elation

burst forth from spirit roots each coming morn.

A nurturing beholds in manna showers-

then sunlight warms.  A hailing from Creation

stands firm and sure in ancient Word He's sworn!

New growth abounding through all winded hours

adorns!

(inspired by the Caudate sonnet form)
