Oh Joy of Life!

Oh Joy of Life!

So quietly in pristine celebration,
the breeze stirred forest shines in early morning;
oh joy of life in wind filled bough elation
as time moves forward!  In the sun's adorning,
warmth fills the woodland with expectant cheer
on the beginning of this brand new year.

What's that I hear...a songbird's echoed singing;
'tis as those Words taught by the Ancient One-
that through the mindful ages, still are ringing...
oh joy of life! - each new day that's begun!
In blessed celebration we're assured-
for we have Jesus' everylasting Word!
