Autumn Haiku

Autumn Haiku

By a leaf-filled stream
midst the rising Autumn wind-
a still deer listens...

(Psalm 42:1...As the deer pants for streams of water,
so my soul pants for you, O God.)

"Oh glory! Glory!" -
I hear the sparrow singing
from the burning bush.

(Exodus 3:1-15...there an angel of the Lord appeared
in flames of fire within a bush.  Moses
saw that though the bush was on fire,
                           it did not burn up...)

An Autumn sunrise
turns the forest floor golden...
visions of Heaven??

(Revelation 21:21...the great street of the City was pure gold...)
