Field under Ice

Field Under Ice

Rock-hard and crystalized with ice,

in frigid air, clay-cold-

the Winter field bares its soul

midst brunal winded cold.

Alas! Alas! - the risen sun

brings hope past season's storm,

to melt the ice and thaw the land...

the Lord turns cold hearts warm.
