Easter

Most glorious that on this day,

the Lord of Life bestowed the way

to all mankind, o're death and sin-

no longer captive, us to win.

Concordant with the risen sun,

our victory in Him is won,

our joy as though the fragrant flower

that blooms within a certain hour-

perennial as though the Spring-

the soul from which we praise and sing

of utmost love, just as we ought-

the lesson that our Lord has taught.
