Onward I Go
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 1 time

By Lucia Kiersch Haase
Other Poems by Lucia Kiersch Haase

Onward I Go

Onward through pasture green, I surely go

swept forward in eternal winds of time;

I follow rod and staff within the flow

of rushing stream through desert sand, sublime.

I turn and see within the shadows cast

life lessons when I've swayed upon the path.

Onward I go while learning from the past;

He guides me as I'm saved from certain wrath.

Soft grasses touch my feet just as He calls

me onward, for I am a guided sheep;

peace in the valley flows like waterfalls;

onward I go, 'till reaching Kingdom's Keep.
