'Thy Kingdom Come'

'Thy Kingdom Come'

I'm mindful of 'thy Kingdom come' in prayer;
His voice throughout the ages past, I hear.
God's will and plan thrives, making me aware,
'thy Kingdom come' is Heaven, Oh so near.
Our Savior lovingly has paid the price,
and now He beckons us to paradise!

The road winds narrow to the open Door;
'thy Kingdom come' tells me of certain way,
and that beyond this prelude, there is more;
to win the race, I follow Him and pray-
that once I am beyond earth's timely drum...
the Lord will say, "This is thy Kingdom - come!"

Luke 23:42...Lord, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.

(a heroic sestet poem)
