Honesty

"The godly are directed by honesty, the wicked fall beneath
their load of sins." Proverbs 11:5
Father,
Honesty sets free the child within,
The child waiting to be born --
The untied child of  Your freeing Will, and
Not the child of my enslaving will.
Honesty mothers the "real," for
As the holy eye of day,
As the searching eye of truth,
It sees the "I" of soul-fact,
Not the "I" of soul-fiction.
Honesty treats the soul, for
It is a physician,
The soul's loving physician that
Melts the soul's heart-ice, and
Heals the soul's heart-wounds.
Honesty shepherds the soul to You,
With a tongue as a clear stream, it
Leads my soul from the demon beasts
To drink the waters of Your grace.
Father.
Strip my soul of illusion's garments and
Wash my soul with the grace of honesty,,
Then soul scrubbed of self,
Raw, distrust naked, and
Without any cerebral dancing,
I will be touched and
EXPERIENCE the truth:
I am loved by You, Father.
