God Speaks Peace to the Storms of L

God Speaks Peace To Life’s Storms!

God speaks peace to life’s stormy seas.

He brings quietness and a “gentle breeze.”

He calms the raging waters and says;

“peace be still!”

This is what he wants for you!

 And his will!

He brings victory to the battles within…

And takes away the darkest of sins!

He’s what you need!  This very hour!

He wants to do this for you!

 He has the power!

He’s our refuge!

 A present help in trouble!

Though the oceans shake

and mountains rumble!

Why not steer into God’s harbor

 of safety during this time?

You’ll find he is loving,

caring and kind!

He’s is calling you now!

And knocks at your door!

What In the world…

 Are you waiting for???

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
