We're Living In a Very Confused Gen

We’re Living In A Very Confused Generation!

Just take a look all across this nation!

We’re living in a very confused generation!

From just about very city and town…

What’s right or wrong is turned “upside down.”

Any kind of commitment is falling apart.

Another broken family...  Another broken heart!

Rather than seeking God.  Many refuse him!

Any kind of morals.  They seem to “lose” them.

We read on the news of another “affair.”

But many just laugh! But don’t really care!

The very foundation is what’s being destroyed!

While a life of “indulgence” is being “enjoyed!”

As in the days of Noah…  It’ll be at Christ’ coming!

But take a look at what our

country’s becoming!

The only answer and hope, to all this confusion.

Is to have a “God to man” blood transfusion!

Only the blood of Jesus can remove the stain of sin.

And help us all to have a true joy within!

Anything less than God in our lives, will always fail!

As many continue down an ungodly trail!

Please come back to God and head his direction!

We need his word!  And needs HIS correction!

We must come back to Jesus and the cross!

Without God!  We’ll be forsaken and lost!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
