I Want To Be With Jesus In Heaven!

I Want To Be With Jesus

In Heaven Someday!

Getting to heaven is my

Purpose and goal.

When the trumpet sounds,

I want to GO!

Jesus has made a way!

 I want to see it!

He created a heaven

 and I believe it!

Heaven is a place where Jesus’

beauty glows!

It has a lot of “blood-purchased souls!”

I’m thankful for Jesus

 and his wondrous love.

And for preparing a heaven

 in the skies above!

Help me dear Jesus to be ready

 to go there!

I’m ready now to leave everything

 down here!

Heaven is my goal!

 It’s a home to obtain!

Anyone can go there,

but only in Jesus’ name!

Receiving Jesus brings heaven

close to my mind…

Won’t you join me now?

 While there’s still time?

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
