Won't You Let Jesus Fill You Up?

Won’t You Let Jesus Fill You Up?

Is there something that’s

filled your mind?

This “something takes up your time…

Does this “something” have your

 whole life consumed?

It’s almost like your life is “one big cartoon…”

This “something” has “stolen” any

 sense of “fulfillment.”

It’s kind of like an “addictive absorbent.”

This “something” is annoying.

 and has you down.

You’re not happy and there’s emptiness  all around…

This is something for which freedom you really seek…

Even if it was for just one day of the week!

This “something” you may wish

 you had the cure.

Deep down inside, you feel

 lonely and insecure?

This “something” isn’t too big for our God to solve.

Why not invite him in and allow him to get involved?

There’s “something” that “doctor Jesus”

 specializes in.

The power to cleanse and make your life WHOLE again!

There’s something Jesus wishes to do…

Before you were born,… He said; I LOVE YOU!”

There’s something you won’t

 regret that you did..

As Christ alone can change

 the whole way you live!

His love and beauty,

he’s forever revealing!

Only he can give you a true

 purpose and meaning!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
