Let's Appreciate What God Gave Us!

Let's Enjoy What God Gave Us!

If the “pleasures” life were

removed from your mind.

What kinds of things would a person find?

If these were removed…

Would there be “confusion?”

Would it be a “wandering mind”

filled with “pollution?”

Do you give much thought to what enters in?

As the battle for the mind…  Each day begins.

God’s given us his word.  A NEW direction!

It began with Christ and his resurrection!

YOU can have your life renewed

by God’s word.

HIS purity in your thoughts…

Need to be “stirred!”

It’s the Godly way of living

 that’s the best choice.

He speaks hope to all.

In a “still small voice.”

Won’t you allow him to put

His love and peace within?

A new life with him,

Is waiting to begin!

Experience all that he has to give

and so much more!

He’s willing to help…

What are you waiting for?

He can give TRUE LOVE

and a “cleansing” throughout.

This is our God.

This is what he’s all about!

He’s a God of restoration and a mercy divine…

Now is the opportunity!  Now is THE TIME!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
