Sin's Destruction... God's Redempti

Sin's Destruction...
God's Redemption
!

I must be careful of sin...
lest "it snares me."
I've seen it's destructive power...
 "and it scares me!"

Many who thought they
 we're "good," have fallen.
As the "shackles of sin"
have come "callin.'
"

"The heart is deceitfully wicked
above all things."
There's no telling the
destruction it brings.

"The Lord searches our hearts
and tests our ways."
We'll have to give him a reckoning
 one of these days.

"We've all sinned and fallen
 short of God's glory."
But... wait!  There's a
wonderful "love story."

A story of God's son who
bled and died for you.
Someone who cares... when
"there's no one else to turn to."

Why not invite Jesus into
your heart... tonight?
He will bring true satisfaction
 and pure delight!

He will restore everything
that sin has taken away.
Allow him to do it now...
This could be your day!"

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
