Jesus Is Alive And Well Today!

The existence of Jesus, many attempt to deny.

They reject the truth, and accept a corruptible lie.

Christ’ death on the cross, many refuse to believe.

They refuse to acknowledge what he achieved.

Christ’ atonement and resurrection, they won’t accept.

His offer for grace and salvation, they reject.

Won’t you believe the words that he has spoken?

His life for ours, on Calvary, was sacrificed and broken.

Will you reject the truth of the Lord Jesus today?

Will you refuse to listen to what others may say?

His message of hope and mercy ring loud and clear…

He brings an eternal life that’s eternal and secure.

Let’s rejoice together in knowing he is real!

Behold the Lord God!  The Lord of Israel!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
