You’d Think Living For God Is A “Bad thing.”

You’d think living for God is a “bad thing.”

Many have tried to remove him from everything!

As millions of lives are on drugs, sex and dope.

It’s no wonder why many have given up hope!

Just when we need God the most...  He’s cast out!

We’re discovering what a

“Godless society” is all about!

Who are you  going to turn to when you need help the most?

Are you serving the true God?

 Or chasing a “ghost?”

I don’t care how many courts say he does not belong.

His words are truth.  They’re powerful and STRONG!

He brings help and healing in his arms divine.

He’s still the same God thru the passing of time!

Behold the Glory of the Lord and his righteousness!

It’s only in him that America find true happiness!

Jesus is coming soon in his glory and splendor.

He wants for you to be with him now and forever!

Mo matter what others say…  God does love you!

He is here right now and wants to be with you!

God...  Not the government... Is your true supply!

He is Jehovah...  He is El Shaddai!

Won’t you come to him and

make him your friend?

You’ll find true hope and

an atonement for sin!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
