I Shall Bless the Lord

I Shall Bless The Lord!

I shall bless the Lord with all

of my soul!

His blessing in my life….

He seeks to bestow!

God is great!  And is clothed

with a robe of majesty!

Not to serve him is surely a tragedy!

He covers himself with

a garment of light…

His beauty radiates the

heavens so BRIGHT!

He lowers the beams

of the waters’ depths…

His beauty in creation

has been forever kept!

The clouds are his chariots

on the wings of the wind…

His will is accomplished

As a new season begins!

He laid earth’s foundations

 at the beginning of time…

He did this with great power

 and had YOU in mind!

His beauty in creation will never

 be taken away…

His is the Lord God…

 And is alive today!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
