We Have Hope Through the Cross!

We Have Hope Through the Cross!

Christ bore our sin, when on

the cross he died,

His life for yours,

was then applied!

He bore our sorrows,

on that crucifixion day.

He provided for our sins

to be washed away!

He sacrificed for all,

at that moment.

HIS sacrifice on the cross

 was our atonement!

He provided salvation

that he's freely giving!

He's provided a chance to

enjoy eternal living!

Christ took a chance on us!

Will you do the same?

Why not reach out to him

and call on his name?

Living for Christ is an opportunity

he wants all to share!

He loves us so much

and really cares!

Why not invite him in?

 He already made a way!

This could be your opportunity!

This could be your day!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
