Jesus Warned Us of Hard times!
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 3 times

Jesus Warned Us Of Hard times!

We need to think about what’s coming ahead.

And focus on the words that Jesus said!

He said that there’d be a great falling away.

And talk about what is called “the last days.”

He talked about marriage being “put to shame.”

There’d be many rejecting the reason Jesus came.

There’d be a tide of wickedness through the land.

Yet, in man’s stubbornness, they don’t understand.

Professing themselves to be wise, they are fools.

Not living by God’s word, but their own “rules.”

The Godly will suffer more persecution to come.

As many reject the message of God’s only son!

Are you ready for the judgment

 that will be coming?

What kind of person

are you now becoming?

Are  you one who loves Jesus and is ready to go?

A you ready to meet Jesus,

should the trumpet blow ?

Now’s the time to confess and sincerely repent!

No matter the kind of life that you have spent!

Let’s come before Jesus in old fashioned prayer!

Knowing that he listens and is always there!

Please come dear Lord and cleanse us within!

That we’d fall in love with you over again!

You sweet Jesus, are what matters the most!

Change us now, by the power

 of the Holy Ghost!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
