The Return of Our Lord...

The Return Of Our Lord...

Many speak of Christ's
sacrifice and atonement.
Knowing that he could
come at any moment.

Of HIS return.... I'm sure that many
Christians would agree.
He'll take millions to be
with him for eternity.

I can't help but to ask the following question...
How many are living a life
filled with anticipation?

Do many in church live,
as if he could come today?
What kind of life are we living?
What would Jesus say?

Broad is the way that leads to
hell and destruction.
But narrow is the way to
God's plan of redemption.

If you truly believe that Christ's
coming is very near.
What will he find you doing
the day he shall appear?

Will you run and hide and totally be ashamed?
Or will you look up and say;
"Jesus--I worship your holy name!"

Look up child of God... for your
redemption draws nigh!
Jesus is coming back for
people like you and I!

For those,,, who in Christ...
are totally believing.
These are the people he'll soon be receiving.

Live for Christ today!...
Now is the accepted time!
Will you meet your saviour...
or be left behind???

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
