Come to Jesus, While He Is Near!

Come to Jesus While He Is Near!

Come to Jesus while he is near!

He gives a love that’s true and sincere!

Come and drink of the water he gives!

Experience his joy each day you live!

Come and enjoy being filled within!

Know the joys of being born again!

Come and meditate on his words!

May your heart be daily stirred!

Come and have your needs supplied!

In Christ, you can be daily satisfied!

Jesus is the best thing

 that’ll happen to you!

He is faithful and will not let go of you!

He blessed those who want to seek him!

Won’t you come and sit close to him?

Glory to Jesus!

Who reigns up on high!

Come to him now…

And give him a try!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
