During this Road of Life That We Travel…

During this road of life that we all travel…

Things can quickly change

 and begin to “unravel.”

We just don’t know what is going to happen.

In just a moment, our life can be

“hurtin’ and crampin.’”

Pain, worry and loneliness can soon begin.

You may often wonder if you still have a friend.

Whatever pain or hurt you may endure…

There’s one thing that I know for sure!

There’s someone who knows

 about your situation…

And is here now! In a time

 of desperation.

He knows all about everything

you’re going through…

And speaks of a hope and

 a love for YOU!

Whatever your hurt.  Whatever your pain…

He patiently waits for you to call on his name.

His name is Jesus!  His glory shines so bright!.

He is always with you…

 Each day and night!

Won’t you allow him to restore and

make your life complete?

As you lay your every burden

and worry at his feet!

You’re life can be instantly changed

 by his blood’s atonement!

You can experience his life-changing power

  this very moment!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
