We Should Witness For Christ!
Viewed Last 24 Hours: 2 times

We Need to Witness for Christ!

God’s word reminds us to win lost souls.

The harvest is ready.  We should go!

It seems like many want the pastor to “do it for them.”

They seem too concern that

 this may “offend them.”

It seems like socializing is the “Sunday menu for the day.”

It’s hard enough just to get many

 of the people to pray.

This world is wicked, but also is totally lost and dying.

When it comes to witnessing, many in church aren’t trying.

Isn’t this the reason Christ saves us,

is to reach others?

This includes those around us!  Our sisters and brothers!

One day we’ll have to stand before God’s

great judgment throne.

We’ll give an account for what we do

 in and outside of home!

How many souls are going into eternity

without God each day?

May God call us in humbleness

and begin to pray!

Revive our hearts, oh Lord, and touch us

with your fire!

That reaching lost souls for you,

will be our desire.

May we not rely on our church to do

 this mission for us!

Stir in us, oh lord, a deep compassion

  that will move us!

We need to give a reason of the hope

we have within!

All the angels in heaven rejoice over one

who is born again!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
