God Knows Every Word We Say!

God Knows Every Word We Speak!

If I were to stop by

 for a visitation.

What would be the words

 of our conversation?

Perhaps it would be about

the events of the day.

I'm sure there would

a lot we could say.

As we talk and focus

our attention.

May our words be tuned

 to a godly direction.

In our conduct...

Would it give God praise?

Even after we go our

different ways?

After we talk…  Would our lives

 be refreshed?

Or would gossip on our

lips be confessed?

I pray that as each day

passes us on by.

We'd speak in love

till the day we die.

May our conversation

 be blessed and sweet.

As we lay our every

 word at Jesus' feet.

May we be watchful

of the way we're living.

And find in Christ...

A conversation worth giving!

About the Poet
I and my wife have 4 grown children and currently live in the Pacific Northwest. I've spent much of my life doing volunteer work in the food distribution for the needy among local churches. Many of the poems I've written are a reflection of times of adversity as a reminder of God's love and faithfulness. I've found many opportunities to share my poems with those who are hurting and discouraged. I'm thankful for the reports of many of the poems touching people's lives. I hope that the poems included on Wordchimes will touch and bless your life too!
