Little Moochie
by Jean Mollett

Little Moochie,
sneaking up silently,
waiting so patiently.

Little Moochie,
crawling, creeping up,
just around the corner.

Little Moochie,
just laying there,
looking so pityful.

Little Moochie,
just hoping and waiting,
for something to hit the floor.

Little Moochie,
just laying there,
waiting and looking.

Author's Note: My big baby, my big girl. She thinks Mommy doesn't know she around. But, Mommy knows she is. Sooner or later, I'll hear her jingle as she walks through the house. She'll slip in and lay in the hallway or just a few feet from my bedroom door. I know she's there, I'll turn around to take a peek at her. That's why I gave her a another nick name, a new one. Little Moochie. Cause she's always wanting a bite of, what ever Mommy's eating. She trys Daddy too. She doesn't always get anything. Cause she should only eat her food. Thought, I'd better add this: Our pets, whether a dog or cat or other are smarter than we think. In my case, my big baby is a dog.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
