The Fisherman's Net

The Fisherman's Net

One sunday evening at church, we had been talking
and studying about one of the Miracles Jesus Made.
It was the story about 5 loaves of bread, only 3
fish to feed 1,000's of people. And about Jesus
and the fishermen, they couldn't catch any fish.
Jesus had told them what to do with their nets.

Pastor decided to give us papers, with a fisherman's net
and a fish already in it. There was a card with little
fish stickers, to put in the net, everytime there's a
prayer answered. Pastor said we need to reach 153 fish
into the net. We're up to 26 now, with more prayers to
be answered.

I had a few fishes left and got another card, so
I could update my net. We need to keep having our
faith, believing in our Lord. Reading the Bible
more, and praying more too. Miracles can happen,
just not as fast as we like or expect them to.
Pastor talks about the net, each time we meet at
church. With many more prayers to be answered.
Amen.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
