Old Coffee Cups

by Jean Mollett

Old coffee cups,
don't throw them away.
Even if they're stained,
just add a little salt
and wet it, rub it.
Clean as a whistle.

Old coffee cups,
even no handle, they
can be reused. No pencil
holder? There ya go, put
it to good use. Handy, huh?

Old coffee cups,
the best thing there is,
for all the pencils and pens,
right there on your desk.
For the computer center,
or even for space savers.

Author's Note: Old coffee cups, there are many uses for them. I've got my second cup just about filled.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
