From Pine to Palm Trees

From Pine to Palm Trees

As I walk through this beautiful valley,
just to look around. All I see is Palm
Trees and Pine trees, growing all around.
The beautiful lakes spread all around, too
make the valley look more beautiful.

Then as I walk farther and farther, I can
see all the beautiful things that are
growing. And I can also see the mountains.
The mountains are high and low, and are
in between high and low.

As I look at the mountains and the rest of
the valley, it seems to be a dream. But
it's not a dream at all. The mountains are
so beauiful, and when you look at the rest
of the valley. It just seems like an artist
has painted a picture of the most beautiful
valley, that I have never seen before.

And when the sun goes down, the little
valley it looks more beautiful than ever.
With lights shinning so near and far.
Everyone that lives in the little valley,
Stays there for the rest of their lives.
Because they love the little valley, that's
why they call it:
From Pine To Palm Trees.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
