Stormy Days and Stormy Nights

Stormy Days and Stormy Nights

Strangest, craziest weather lately,
we've had storms on and off since
Sunday. Just when you think it's all
over, it settles down. It seems a
couple hours later, here we go again,
sometimes sooner. Day or night it
didn't matter, it hit.
Stormy days and stormy nights.

Strangest, craziest weather lately,
It's Wednesday, had storms early
this morning. It's quiet again, thank
goodness. Watching the weather closely,
now the weatherman says storms clear up
thru this coming Sunday.
Stormy days and stormy nights.

Strangest, craziest weather lately,
each time I see or hear about bad
storms coming. I start praying more
and more. Hoping and praying everyone
safe, no one killed. And the power
won't go off. Without any damage to
anyone's home, business. Keep praying
and be careful, watch the weather.
Some places got hit very hard.
Stormy Days And Stormy Nights.

Note: It thundered so hard,
it shook the house.

About the Poet
I'm married. I am a grandmother. I love poetry, reading and writing it. Someone inspired me to start writing poetry again. That person is my Pastor.
